IPA Night – Philly Beer Week

4 pm – 2 am

Like hoppy beers? Then this is the event for you! We’ll be dedicating about half of our 16 tap lines exclusively to IPA’s during this Philly Beer Week event. You can expect a good mix of pale ales, single IPA’s, and double IPA’s of varying styles. Whether you enjoy the more classic “west coast” style with that piney/citrus flavor profile or the new “juicy” and tropical NE style, we will have ya covered. Final lineup to be determined, but expect lots of hoppy goodness!

Bridging the Gap:
Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine

Join Jason Rinker, HAVEN’s functional acupuncturist, and Jenna Rupert, a certified yoga instructor and holistic health coach, for a workshop that bridges the ancient traditions of yogic asana and pranayama with the energetic pathways used in Traditional Chinese Meridian Therapy. They will lead you to reconnect with your deeper fundamental energy and vital life force also called Prana or Chi. By evoking your body’s energetic fields through movement and breath, you’ll learn techniques that will help you combat the effects of stress, release energy blockages and bring your body back into balance. As you melt into the final resting pose of savasana, optional community acupuncture will be offered by Jason for those willing to receive.

WHEN: Friday, June 7th / 6:30 – 8 p.m.

Investment: $30

Please bring a yoga mat and wear something comfortable.

Please pre-register for this event

Say you can’t dance, huh? So what, we can’t either. Like the planet fitness of distilleries, we’re a no judgement zone facility!

It’s almost JUNE! Get ready to join us for another First Friday

This month we are featuring images from Philadelphia Inquirer photographer David Maialetti’s recently published book Luzzara. Another Look. The photos are Maialetti’s vision of a small Italian Village that was first documented by photo luminary Paul Strand in the 1950’s. Inspired by the balance and structure of Strand’s work, Maialetti’s images can be a nod to his predecessor but fundamentally illustrate how the village has gracefully evolved with time and remained true to its character.
