A new way to First Friday

It might look something like this.

I know what your thinking… You want to sell your handmade widgets to the masses on Frankford Avenue during First Fridays, but you don’t have the cash to rent out a store front, and you don’t want to incur the wrath of Philadelphia’s Licenses and Inspections department for illegally vending on the street.  Well have I got news for you!

This summer (May through September) NKCDC will open up the space that formerly hosted it’s garden center to neighborhood vendors during First Fridays!  There are a few rules;
-Handmade products only, no garage sales or lots of baseball caps that “fell off a truck”
-It’ll cost you $50 to vend at all 4 summer First Fridays
-BYO Table

If your interested in getting more information or signing up you can contact Laura at Lsemmelroth@nkcdc.org.  You can download the signup form here.

  • I am interested in selling food/snacks at First Fridays. I have spoken to you before about getting some help, I am based technically in Palmyra, NJ, however I serve all of Philadelphia and do a good deal of work in Fishtown and Port Richmond.

    Please let me know if this is doable.
